Cllr. Osborne suggested submitting planning responses to MBC just before the cut-off date, to take into consideration comments uploaded on the planning portal.

Considering relevant comments and information received from neighbours the planning committee cannot support 16/508543FULL retrospective permission for a dog grooming building.

Undue congestion to the neighbouring homes due to the business operation and environmental considerations are relevant to the outcome of the final decision.

4   NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REPORT

The meeting at MBC 30th January with members of the planning department and NHP representatives was a positive exercise.  Planning officers offered practical support to the Lenham NHP.  The broad location area from Headcorn Road to the A20 was discussed.  Transport and road provision, utility services and education facilities will be discussed with the appropriate providers.

The feedback report of the meeting will be an agenda item at the NHP meeting on the 31st January.
