REPORT OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE
ON WEDNESDAY 15th NOVEMBER 2017 AT 7.30pm

Members of the public present wished to discuss application 17/505477/FULL.
The Chairman outlined the retrospective change of use from residential annex to office building at 2 Chapel Farm Cottages, Lenham Heath Road, Lenham Heath. Concerns were highlighted relating to the increase in traffic movements and deliveries to the business set up at no: 2. Problems for residents included inconsiderate parking, which blocks the shared access, erodes the grass verges, and dangerously narrows the road. The business has changed the character of a residential area and there are concerns the business could scale up and thereby cause more congestion and noise in a previously quiet rural setting.
The Chairman thanked those present for attending and opened the planning meeting at 7.45pm.

Meeting reports are being produced following discussions with KCC, MBC and British Rail.
The Strategic Environmental Assessment will be attached to the NHP.
Meetings will be organised with KCC and MBC to discuss a total solution package regarding the A20.
Regulation 14 should be ready for consultation February 2018.
