Cllr. Osborne reported he had been lobbied on this application.
Cllrs. Osborne and Cockett attended a site meeting.
- This is unsustainable development in the countryside.
- The site will rely on cesspit drainage.
- Land previously only used for workshops, not dwellings
- Further ecological reports required, report thus far contradicts the Kent Wildlife Trust report as prepared for the Neighbourhood Plan.
We have no objections.

We have no objections.
Planning decision notice 17/504431/TPO for 5no Beech Trees-Fell and replant as required.
Location Land at rear of 8 – 12 Groom Way Lenham. Approved.
Access permission from the Paddock site to be confirmed in readiness for tree removal.
- NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REPORT
Scheduled meetings with land owners and stakeholders continue throughout November.
Following talks with the Len Valley surgery, a sketch design for extended facilities will be produced.
A report of the meeting with Harrietsham Parish Council will be minuted for NHP records.
Two position statements from the Infrastructure Delivery Group will be on the web-site, once collated.
November 1st meeting with developers and on the 6th a workshop to discuss the next steps forward for the plan, will take place at the Community Centre 9.30am -12.30pm.
On the 9th November a meeting to discuss the Strategic Environmental Assessment will take pace.

Notification of Appeal lodged with the Planning Inspectorate. Proposal – Construction of a chalet style
4-bedroom house to replace 3 no: static caravans. Location rear of 34 Maidstone Road Lenham.
Cllr. Osborne will comment on behalf of LPC once clarification concerning the static caravan permission is received from MBC.
