  1. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REPORT

The public consultation on Saturday 16th September was a success with over 300 people attending the exhibition of the 2017 draft plan.  Analysis of the responses to the questionnaires at the event and around the village, will be undertaken by Cllr. Cockett.

A one to one question and answer session will take place on Tuesday 26th September at the Community Centre 6-8pm.

At the present time the parish council will not be commenting on the letter from Helen Whately MP to Sajid Javid MP requesting a holding direction on the Maidstone Local Plan; if the minister calls in MBC’s plan then Lenham Parish Council will review the situation again.  The council will proceed to Regulation 14 as per the original time table, which aims to complete Regulation 14 by the end of this year.
