REPORT OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE

ON WEDNESDAY 16th AUGUST 2017 MEETING AT 7.30pm

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

A resident with approximately half an acre of land within the boundary of a listed building is considering developing the plot. Cllrs. advised the resident to attend the Neighbourhood Plan Consultation event on Saturday 16th September and speak with members of the council and Neighbourhood plan group.

Cllrs. outlined the possible sustainability issues with a rural location, they also suggested contacting the ward borough councillors for advice.                                                      The Chairman opened the meeting at 8.00pm

Listed Building Consent for replacement of two rear elevations windows and one side elevation window with patio doors.

We have no comments; however, we do object to permanent buildings on traveller sites.

 

  1. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REPORT

As there is not a full council meeting in September the planning meeting on the 4th September will discuss the briefing for the Neighbourhood Plan policies before the public consultation on the

16th September.

 

  1. CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED

Cllr. Osborne will complete the application to remove the trees between the paddocks and Groom Way for submission to MBC.

The Clerk confirmed receipt of letter from Bow Window concerning change of licence A1/A3 and removal of A board in the Square. Cllrs. agreed withdraw of support following complaints received.

The adoption of the KCC policy of temporary obstructions will be an agenda item for October meeting.
