REPORT OF THE LENHAM PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE HELD IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE WEDNESDAY 15TH FEBRUARY 2017 AT 7.30pm

 

PRESENT

Cllr. N Osborne, Chairman presiding.

Cllrs. M Ballard, M Cockett, R Greenwood, M Michaelas & A Walmsley.

Cllr. P Scrivens was also present. Mrs. M McFarlane (Clerk)

2 members of the public.

 

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

A member of the public offered to answer any questions Cllrs. may have relating to their application for a proposed side extension.  Cllrs. studied the plans and could see no problems with the application.

The residents also raised concerns relating to excessive litter coming from a local business park.  Cllrs. will

investigate the report.

 

The Chairman thanked the residents for attending and opened the meeting at 7.40pm

We wish to object and call in to MBC planning committee.

Object to over development in grounds of occupied property.

Increased traffic movements with restricted entrance.

 

Letter received from KCC PROW & Access Diversion of Public Footpath KH659(part)            Lenham to confirm the diversion of part of the public footpath.

 

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REPORT

The meetings thus far, with land owners and developers has proved a successful exercise and will be useful for future negotiations, particularly concerning the provision of open spaces within the proposed sites.

A meeting will be organised with D Tibbett of MBC to discuss the Ham Lane allotment

site, it is proposed to object to the separation of the site into two areas.
