MINUTES OF LNPG MEETING HELD 7.45pm 16th APRIL 2019 AT LENHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE
PRESENT: S MacKenzie (Chairman presiding), R Greenwood (Chairman Lenham Parish Council), M Ballard, M Cockett, N Osborne, V Woollven, J Hatcher, P McCreery
DECLARATION OF ANY CONFLICT OF INTEREST: VW declared an interest in relation to land to the rear of Title Barn, JH declared an interest in relation to proposed development by Wealden Homes to land behind Loder Close.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: These were accepted and signed off.UPDATE ON COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE WITH:
● KCC - PM confirmed that a meeting had taken place with B Wright from KCC and representatives from pba regarding the transportation proposals. Following discussions at the meeting PM had revised and circulated the draft LNP Community Infrastructure Levy Projects and Exclusions. A further meeting had been arranged for the 17th April with key officers from KCC Education, KCC Strategic Planning and Infrastructure together with Cllr S Prendergast, RG and MC would also be attending together with PM
● MBC – PM stated that a date for the suggested tripartite meeting, KCC, MBC and LPC had not yet been finalised. A further meeting with W Cornell. and R Jarman from MBC has been arranged for the 7th May to discuss the outstanding matters and queries LPC has. PM would prepare a draft letter to MBC prior to the meeting to be discussed by LPC and once approved forwarded to MBC by LPC.
LAND SOUTH OF OLD ASHFORD ROAD – A revised Masterplan has been submitted by TIm Dean of DLE, further details regarding this are awaited.
LAND WEST OF HEADCORN ROAD AND NORTH OF LEADING CROSS GREEN – To date no response has been received from the owners of the land to recent communications. It was agreed once written confirmation of the acceptability of the infrastructure proposals is received from KCC and MBC further communication would be sent to the owners.
LAND WEST OF HEADCORN ROAD AND SOUTH OF THE OLD GOODS YARD - PM stated to date he has not received a response to his letter dated 9th March to the owner of the site. Further communications to be sent to the owner once written confirmation of the acceptability of the infrastructure proposals is received from KCC and MBC.
LAND WEST OF LODER CLOSE – Wealden Homes have submitted a Planning Application for this land. PM confirmed that he has written to MBC on behalf of LPC concerning the same.
UPDATE RE HOUSING NEEDS ASSESSMENT – PM confirmed that contact had been made with Abi Rhodes of Aecom and further communication is awaited. PM will contact Aecom further.
BRIEFING NOTE. WEIGHT TO BE GIVEN TO THE EMERGING NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN – PM had prepared and circulated a Briefing Note on behalf of LPC which has also been forwarded to MBC. This matter to be discussed further.
PM confirmed the next meeting of the IDG is to take place on 30th April.
It was agreed that Lenham’s MP should be kept updated regarding current position of LNP.NEXT MEETING – 7.45pm 7th May 2019
