A parishioner from the High Street highlighted concerns relating to the proposed development of land to the rear of the United Reform Church in Maidstone Road. The Planning Committee will meet again with the developers to discuss concerns.
An informal presentation of proposals for development on land south of the railway station off Headcorn Road Lenham were discussed. Transport and parking issues were highlighted and the extra burden on utilities, education and medical facilities were raised. The developers will consult further with LPC following changes to the proposals.
The Chairman opened the meeting at 8.35pm
