Open Space / Environment Works
MBC have confirmed permission for the removal of the damaged Beech tree at the rear of the Community Centre. Clerk to verify if permission is also granted to remove a large branch which is touching the community centre building. Cllr. Greenwood will obtain quotes for cost of tree removal.
Cllrs. Barr and Greenwood recommended raising the crowns and fencing off yew trees in the churchyard, before commencing a one year trial of permitting sheep to graze at the rear of the churchyard.
Quotes will be sought for the tree surgery. The fencing will be provided at no cost to the parish.
Next year Cllr. Barr recommends the Groom Way hedge should be cut using a tractor in the adjoining field, subject to confirmation.
The Clerk will ask MBC if the drainage from the development in Bank Yard has been resolved.
