Erection of a single storey side extension to be used as a bedroom and wet room for disabled home owner.

No Objections recommend proposed condition (if approved) that a window should be inserted in the front elevation to break up the solid brickwork facade.
Demolition of rear out building. Proposed single storey rear extension.
6 Douglas Road Douglas Road, Lenham
All applications will be checked for CIL documentation on receipt and if applicable will be recorded and monitored on the LPC planning spreadsheet which is updated regularly. Cllrs. Ballard & Walmsley will be responsible for ensuring CIL payments are tracked.
Cllr. Ratcliffe presented in draft form the proposed Guide to shopfront advertising for historic buildings,
which is a design guidance document for local businesses. Following discussions, it was agreed to make some amendments and present to full council for consideration.
- NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REPORT
Cllr. Cockett outlined the proposed wish list for road improvements, as defined by the transport survey being undertaken by Peter Brett Associates in conjunction with the NHP. There are no recommendations at present as the document is at draft stage. Copious amounts of statics have been produced by the consultants which are proving useful to determine best options to cope with increased traffic flow.
- CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED
Cllr. Greenwood reported on a letter giving prior notice of the intention to pursue planning permission for an additional dwelling within the curtilage of Lenham Vicarage. Cllr. Greenwood had been in conversation with the Canterbury Diocese to explore the possibility of providing extra parking provision in the Vicarage grounds. The option would appear to be no longer achievable.
Phillip Jarvis has requested permission to erect a sale board on land opposite Tolhurst Way.
Cllrs. agreed it would be permitted for three months only.
Cllrs. Walmsley and Ratcliffe are working with the Lenham Wanderers FC to discuss fund raising options and requisite facilities required if the club is relocated to land at east Lenham. Cllr. Ratcliffe suggested an informal pre-application site meeting with MBC to discuss the football club, nursery school and new WCs requirements.
A Planning appeal relating to application 18/501036/FULL Pipers Wait Faversham Road, Lenham has been
lodged. The planning committee do not wish to withdraw the original representations.
